Visit of Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham to Catholic Charities

We are thrilled to share some exciting news with you all. Catholic Charities recently had the honor of welcoming Governor Michelle Lujan-Grisham on Wednesday, April 26th. The Governor addressed our Board of Directors and staff, sharing her early career experience of working in the non-profit sector, and expressing her deep empathy and compassion for those who struggle in our society.

During her visit, Governor Lujan-Grisham discussed funding for human services, with a particular focus on childcare and housing. As a Roman Catholic, the Governor is passionate about working with Catholic Charities to address the housing crisis in New Mexico. We are deeply grateful for the attention and support she has shown our organization.

The event was a remarkable success, and we are grateful for the opportunity to share our work and mission with Governor Lujan-Grisham. Her visit has reaffirmed our commitment to our life-saving work, and we look forward to continuing to make a positive impact on the community.
