Catholic Charities understands that many of the issues threatening to disrupt and destabilize a family can only be addressed after the family is housed. We provide support to families and individuals who are unhoused or in danger of becoming so through the following programs:

La Luz Rapid Rehousing Program

In this program we provide housing for families with dependent children in Albuquerque and Sandoval County including up to 24 months of rental assistance and case management.

Partners in Housing
A Permanent Supportive Housing Program

Housing individuals and families experiencing chronic homelessness and disabling conditions. The goal is to help them establish stability and to improve their quality of life through supportive case management.

Rental Assistance Program
Emergency Solutions Grant

Assists households who face the threat of eviction and housing instability. These programs are designed to be short term and to help families and individuals get back on their feet with supportive case management.

Our Housing team is currently accepting inquiries regarding
COVID rent relief
through our HUD funded programs
or through direct referrals to and assistance with
CABQ ERAP funding.

The Center for Self-Sufficiency and Housing Assistance provides housing assistance to individuals and families to assist them to transition to self-sufficiency and sustainable housing.  Our programs range from one-time rental assistance to long-term permanent housing programs.  For details on each of our programs, please see the tabs below.

Our programs rely on a self-sufficiency model where participants are assisted in finding lasting solutions through employment and other supports that provide the framework for long-term Housing Stability.

We currently offer assistance in Bernalillo and Sandoval counties.
