Supporting Families, Fighting Poverty and Building Community

Our Donation Center is open for walk-in donations!

If you have furniture donations and want to schedule a FREE pick-up appointment, please call 505-724-4678 and leave a VOICEMAIL with your name, phone number, and a brief description of your items. Please speak clearly and slowly. We will return your call as soon as possible. Note: The return phone call will be coming from a different number.

Donation Center
We accept furniture items that are clean, in good repair, and ready to be delivered directly to a newly-homed or refugee family's apartment. Please help us ensure the safety of our staff. If you are sick or have sick family members in your home, please do not call until everyone in the household has been symptom-free for at least two weeks.

- Apartment-sized sofas and loveseats
- End tables, coffee tables
- Lamps
- Linens (for crib-queen mattresses)
- Dishes, pots and pans
- Nonperishable food
- New/Lightly Used Pillows
- Coffee Pots
- Indoor Trash Cans (Large and Small)
- 1 Gallon Size Trash Bags
- Sponges
- Brooms and Dust Pans
- Mops
- Paper Towels
- Kleenex (all sizes including travel)

We Unfortunately Cannot Accept:

- King-size beds
- Analog televisions
- Sectional sofas
- Hutches, large credenzas
- Entertainment centers
- Clothing

Digital Inclusion 

We are accepting:
laptops, tablets and smartphones with their chargers

as part of ur Digital Inclusion Programs to help our clients and families with Digital Literacy in school their workplaces and homes!

​Furniture donations are used to furnish apartments for families re-establishing themselves and refugee families in our community. All items must be clean and in good shape.
What items do you accept?
We accept items that help us furnish apartment-sized dwellings for families and individuals according to our mission of DIGNITY. Items fit for apartment living that are gently used and in good working order are gladly accepted.
Items that can be picked up (call to arrange):
  • Gently used beds (must be in good shape)
  • Kitchen tables and chairs
  • Dressers​
Items to drop off: 
  • Working computers
  • Lamps
  • Linens
  • Blankets
  • Dishes
  • Glasses
  • Silverware
  • Pots & Pans
What parts of the city can you pick up from?
Items can be picked up from most of the following areas:
  • Albuquerque
  • Bernalillo
  • Rio Rancho
What is the impact of the items donated?
Your in kind donation helps to provide safety, refuge and hope for homeless and refugee families beginning their path to self-sufficiency in central New Mexico. With your generosity, we have been able to provide comfortable, furnished housing for families as large as 12!
How do I receive an IRS tax deduction?
Upon pick-up or drop off of your items, you will receive a receipt. This is your official receipt for tax purposes, so remember to file it for away tax time!
How much do you charge for pick-up?
Pick-up of large furniture is completely FREE! Please leave a message at 505-724-4678 and we will call you back to coordinate if we are able to pick up your items! ​
What items are not accepted?
We do not accept the following items: 
  • Clothing
  • Pianos
  • Large appliances
  • Anything damaged or unusable​
  • Analog TVs or TVs that need a converter box
If you have any of the above items, our partner St. Vincent de Paul ​may accept them.
