The South Valley Pride Day Parade was a great success with the participation of Catholic Charities.5/2/2023 We are pleased to share the exciting news that Catholic Charities participated in the Bernalillo County Pride Parade and Celebration Event held on Sunday, April 23, 2023, in South Valley. The event featured colorful floats, music, and dancing, and concluded at the Westside Community Center, where participants enjoyed food, live music, vendors, and informational booths, all in celebration of the vibrant South Valley community.
Our team of enthusiastic staff and volunteers proudly wore custom-made tie-dye t-shirts, decorated our truck with paper flowers, and carried signs that depicted our services while sharing candy with spectators of all ages. Our spirited and lively team walked and ran the parade route, spreading joy and positivity throughout the community. Our participation in the parade is a testament to our organization's commitment to serving all people with respect, compassion, and dignity. We believe in celebrating the inclusivity of the communities we serve and are proud to be a part of events that promote these values. We want to thank all the staff and volunteers who participated in this event and demonstrated our organization's dedication to our mission.
