Partnering For Seniors
Picture
Partnering for Seniors is a transportation service for seniors that are in financial need. Through the help of our generous volunteers we are able to provide safe and reliable rides to and from medical appointments, pharmacy pick-ups, and grocery shopping. Our volunteers will not only be helping seniors maintain their independence through this service, but will also be working to combat the problem of social isolation in our seniors by gifting them with the opportunity to engage with their local community through a fostered companionship.
A unique aspect of this program is the prioritization of service for same-day medical rides, although we also provide scheduled medical and non-medical rides. As our volunteer base grows, we hope to expand our service area to include rural areas and nearby Pueblos, as well as expanding our transportation services to include a greater variety of non-medical rides.

Please help us to establish this much-needed program within the senior community of Santa Fe through the generous gift of your time.

We have 15 volunteer positions open now to serve the Santa Fe area.

We ask volunteer drivers to commit to their own selected weekly shift (trips vary from 1-4 hours).

Limited gas cards and/or mileage reimbursement may be available in case of financial hardship.

Contact Shaelyn Klaus at 505-600-9419 or klauss@ccasfnm.org to apply.
