You can play a vital role in helping our adults maintain their health and independence by becoming a volunteer driver. As a volunteer driver, you will utilize your own vehicle to assist seniors in maintaining their independence by providing transportation to essential medical, dental, vision, or other healthcare appointments and running necessary errands around town. Your support is crucial in meeting the growing demands for transportation services, ensuring that older adults receive the care they need.
Currently, we have 15 open driving positions in zip codes 87105 and 87121. This volunteer opportunity offers exceptional flexibility. We understand the importance of working with your schedule, allowing you to choose the days, times, frequency, and specific areas you prefer to drive in.
The duration of trips typically ranges from 1 to 4 hours, and you have the option to volunteer in specific ZIP codes or cover various areas throughout town. Additionally, we provide limited gas cards to assist volunteers facing financial hardship.
By dedicating your time and effort as a volunteer driver, you can make a significant difference in the lives of older adults and contribute to their overall well-being.
