Case Manager - Full-Time - Albuquerque, NM

Catholic Charities has two job openings for the position of a Case Manager in the Center for Self Sufficiency and Housing Assistance.

We are seeking two dedicated Housing Case Managers with a strong passion for serving homeless communities. The ideal candidate will work closely with individuals and families experiencing homelessness, providing crucial support in navigating applications for assistance to achieve and maintain stable housing. The goal is to empower participants to become self-sufficient and successfully exit homelessness.

Key Responsibilities: Engage regularly and consistently with housing participants to deliver comprehensive wraparound services. Apply principles of Housing First, Harm Reduction, and Trauma-Informed Care in all interactions. Maintain accurate records and case notes using HMIS (Homeless Management Information System). Utilize Microsoft Office applications, including SharePoint, to manage and track participant progress.

BA/BS in Social, Behavioral, or Health Sciences and/or relevant experience in related field OR a satisfactory equivalent combination of education and experience; one year minimum of experience working directly with homeless populations. Proficiency in MS Office applications and HMIS. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Bilingual in English/Spanish and multicultural experience is preferred.

Pay range starts at $23.75 per hour/$49,400 annually, DOE. Catholic Charities provides a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, 401K plan, and PTO benefits and 50% daycare discount at the Children’s Learning Center (depending on availability).

Program Assistant II - Full-Time - Albuquerque, NM

Join our Albuquerque Immigration team where we are committed to providing high-quality legal representation to individuals and families in various immigration matters. You will work alongside Accredited Department of Justice Representatives with years of experience providing clients the guidance they need to navigate the U.S. immigration system. Duties will include live-answering the phones, data entry, scheduling clients, and other general clerical duties.

This candidate will be available to work full time (40 hours per week), will be fully bilingual in English and Spanish, and will have experience with office administration. The ideal candidate will be comfortable being the face of our Immigration Center as the first point of contact for our clients and will be passionate about community involvement and advocacy work.

AA degree in business or related field; OR a satisfactory equivalent combination of education and experience; a minimum of three years of administrative experience; proficient in MS Office Suite, Outlook, and database navigation; bilingual in English/Spanish; ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing; and strong attention to details.

Compensation for this position begins at $17.65 per hour or $36,712 annually, depending on experience (DOE). Preschool Teacher - Full-Time - Albuquerque, NM

We are looking for a passionate and professional teacher to join our Children’s Learning Center team. We offer a warm and inviting early childhood environment and impart a bilingual curriculum to our children. The ideal candidate for this job will love working with children, have experience in an early childhood classroom, and speak English and Spanish fluently.

This person must be a sensitive and mature individual who can relate well to all Center community members, maintain a professional attitude and have a collaborative, warm personality. They will also have a CDC and be willing to study the Reggio Emilia approach to learning, which includes planning, supervising, and implementing child-directed classroom programs that are emergent and inquiry-based as well as by the policies of the Center and the requirements of licensing agencies. However, we are willing to work with teachers ready to take coursework towards the CDC while employed at our center

High school diploma or equivalent; two years of qualified experience working with children; 45-hour entry-level course or completed within 4 months of hire date. Preferred: CDC –Childhood Development Certification and bilingual in English/Spanish.

We are seeking a dynamic, hard-working educator with experience working with diverse adult English language learners at various English language levels. Floater Teacher - Full-Time - Albuquerque, NM

Catholic Charities has a job opening for a full-time Floater Teacher position in the Children’s Learning Center, located in Albuquerque, New Mexico. This position requires approximately 40 hours per week.

We are looking to hire a teacher to assist with meeting the specific and unanticipated needs to cover any classroom throughout the day as a substitute teacher. They must be available to work any shift during the hours the agency is open and occasional after-hours events, meetings, and training. Additionally, they will support the classroom teaching team in providing a safe, nurturing environment where children have the opportunity to develop their cognitive, physical, and social-emotional capacity through exploratory play.

The floater teacher follows the leadership of the lead teachers to maintain positive expectations and utilize established strategies for a well-organized classroom.

This position requires a high school diploma or GED equivalent; six months to a year of experience in a licensed childcare/school setting; 45 hour entry-level course or completed within 4 months of hire date; and bilingual in English/Spanish. Must have a valid NM Driver’s License with the ability to drive; able to comply with a level II background screening as required by agency and State Licensing; basic computer literacy in email usage, word processing and internet navigation; and passionate about working with children. Preference will be given to candidates that have a CDC – Child Development Certification.

The pay range for this position starts at $14.88 per hour, depending on experience (DOE).
