POSITION OPENINGS:
PRESCHOOL TEACHER I (ABQ- FT and PT).  Daytime/evening work. Assists in implementing activities designed to promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of children, maintaining classroom records, cleanliness, and safety. Maintains daily open communication with parents and attend in-service and staff meeting. This position requires a high school diploma or GED equivalent; one year of experience working with children, and bilingual English/Spanish; CDA-Childhood Development Associates or CDC –Childhood Development Certification preferred; CDA or CDC must be completed within 12 months of hire. ​Pay range starts at $10.25 to $11.07 hr., DOE. ​ADULT EDUCATOR (ABQ-PT) (16 hrs.) Responsible for teaching classes to adults, including curriculum development and evaluation of student outcomes.  Maintains accurate records on all students.QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree required; three years’ experience teaching adults preferred; NM Teaching Licensure and certification in TESOL or bilingual education for ESL preferred; bilingual English/Spanish preferred and basic computer competency in MS Office and Windows required.  Retired/licensed teachers are encouraged to apply.  Pay range starts at $14.00 per hr., DOE. PROGRAM ASSISTANT I (ABQ-FT & SANTA FE- FT) * Please specify if you’re applying for the ABQ or SF location on your letter of intent)* Utilizes a web-based case management system to scan/upload documents. Maintains and monitors electronic case files.  Screens clients in person and over the phone in Spanish. Records phone calls in Spanish and maintains phone logs. Responsible for filing, copying, mailing.  Translates documents (Spanish to English). Monitors and orders office supplies. Must have a strong interest in helping others and ability to respond to cultural differences present among the Agency’s service population.  Handles confidential information.  
This position requires a high school diploma or GED equivalent; AA or BA preferred; Proficiency in MS, Outlook, Excel required as well as a demonstrated aptitude to use computer/internet-based systems. Must be able to work independently with minimum supervision and able to relate to the public; Bilingual in English/Spanish required.  Pay range starts at $11.80, DOE. ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT (ABQ-FT) – Responsible for providing: administrative support to the Development Office in the areas of gift processing, records and database management of all constituents, preparing reports and gift acknowledgement letters, scheduling appointments and assistance with giving campaigns and events.  This position prefers a Bachelor’s degree, High School Diploma or equivalent required; 3 years of experience in related field preferred; experience in web design, organizational social media updates and internet searches required; proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; and technical capacity; excellent written and verbal communication skills are required; bilingual in English/Spanish preferred. Must be able to work occasional evenings. Must be able to work independently with minimum supervision and able to relate to the public. Pay range starts at $11.80, DOE. Administrative ASSISTANT (ABQ-FT) - Responsible for providing: secretarial/administrative support to the Executive Director in the areas of scheduling and calendar management; meeting preparation, including record, transcribe and distribution of minutes of meetings; monitor, screen, respond to and distribute incoming communications; answer and manage incoming calls; receive and interact with incoming visitors; prepares and designs general correspondence, memos, charts, tables, graphs, business plans, etc.; liaise with internal staff at all levels and other duties as requested.  This position prefers a Bachelor’s degree, High School Diploma or equivalent required; 3 years of experience in related field preferred; excellent written and verbal communication skills are required; proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; bilingual in English/Spanish preferred.
