Healthcare & Mental Health

Healthcare

Find Health Coverage Through BeWellNM
APS Students eligible for Healthcare

APS students (including APS charter students) can access health care at the six school based health centers (SBHCs) run by UNM.
Our clinics are now open regardless of the schools being on-line or hybrid. We are COVID safe and see kids on site and remotely.

We serve ALL APS students, not just the ones at the schools where these clinics are located. We see everyone regardless of insurance or immigration status. We provide confidential sexual and reproductive health (OCPs, IUDs, Nexplanon, condoms, STI testing, etc). We provide confidential mental health services through excellent therapists and have access to child and adolescent psychiatrists. We also do regular medical care: wellness and injury or illness care.
For more information, please call Priscilla Juarez, UNM SBHC Program Office Supervisor, at 505-272-5132.
