Our vehicle donation program is a simple and easy way to support our mission of dignity. Funds from donated vehicles assist in providing safety, refuge and hope for those we serve.

Why Donate?

  • Your donation will help our efforts to serve vulnerable individuals and families in our community.
  • Avoid the hassle of selling your vehicle; having to place an ad, field phone calls, and show your car multiple times.  
  • If you vehicle does not run, we will still pick it up free of charge. Free up space in your garage or your driveway.
  • Your donation will qualify you for an IRS tax deduction. LEARN HOW

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

1. How can I schedule a pickup?
Please contact us at 505-724-4637 or submit the Vehicle Donation Form found at www.onecommunityauto.com/car-donation and be sure to list Catholic Charities as the organization to receive your donation.

2. How will my car be picked up?
Once you have provided the necessary information via the online donation form or over the phone, One Community Auto will contact you and schedule a pick up date and time that is convenient for you.

Vehicles can be picked up from Albuquerque and surrounding areas including:
• Rio Rancho
• As far north as Los Alamos
• As far south as Belen
• As far east as Clines Corners
• As far west as Laguna


3. Do I need to notify the DMV when I donate my vehicle?
No! One Community Auto will contact the DMV for you. If you have more questions or need more information, please speak with the One Community Auto representative at scheduling or pick up.

4. What is the impact of the funds raised?
The funds raised by your vehicle donation go toward our programs and services, which help to provide safety, refuge, and hope for the thousands of individuals and families served by Catholic Charities every year. 5. Is my donation tax-deductible? Will I get a receipt?
Yes, under the federal tax law effective in 2005, people who donate vehicles to charities can claim the actual amount for which the vehicle sells at auction. One Community Auto will provide your receipt with the necessary tax information on it. If you need a replacement receipt, please reach out to One Community Auto.
