When Catholic Charities has open positions, they are normally advertised in local newspapers such as the Albuquerque Journal or the Santa fe New Mexican. However, interested applicants may submit resumes for consideration at any time. Resumes are held for 3 months. If a position opens during that period which matches the qualifications on your resume, you will automatically be considered for that position. But the best time to apply is when Catholic Charities is actively recruiting for that job. It is helpful to attach a cover letter telling us specifically which positions are of interest to you. DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR – Position involves planning, implementation of development strategies, major donor solicitation, corporate and foundation gifts, planned giving, direct mail, PR, and special events.   Qualifications: BA/BS in public relations, marketing, communication or related field; Proven success in managing a development program, including fundraising, PR, event planning, records management, and supervision; excellent writing, editing, public speaking, organization and interpersonal skills; computer skills in MS Office, Windows, and donor database software, preferably MatchMaker.  Send resume to Catholic Charities, Human Resources, 6001 Marble NE, Albuquerque, NM 87110, or email to kayd@ccasfnm.org.  EOE.

BILINGUAL PROGRAM ASSISTANT – Part-time, approx. 18-24 hours per week in the Immigration department, which helps victims of domestic violence with legalization, citizenship, and other immigration issues.  Position is responsible for phone intake and referral for clients, secretarial / clerical support to program staff. May be possibility for future advancement.  Qualifications: High school diploma plus 2 years clerical experience. Additional education preferred. Basic computer competency in MS Office, Windows and ability to type 45 words per minute. Must be able to work independently and relate to the public. Bilingual in English/Spanish is required. CASEMANAGER in Housing - Performs comprehensive case management for the Housing dept. for homeless individuals/families to determine eligibility for program services, develops client service plans, coordinates case management services with external community agencies and other internal programs.  Position requires a bachelor’s degree in Social, Behavioral, or Health Sciences; or an Associates degree plus a minimum of 1 year of directly related experience, or professional certification.  Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.  Basic computer competency in MS Office and Windows required.
