Our Adult Education Program offers daytime and evening classes, free of charge. Our goal is to give all who wish to further their knowledge the opportunity to do so.

What should students expect?
Classes generally run from September to May each year. Registration occurs in September, January and May. All new students wishing to register must attend an orientation class. These classes are offered at various times during the month before registration. Since our classes are taught on several levels, we require students to test into them before they register.
What classes do we offer?
English as a Second Language (ESL):
- Levels include Introduction to English, Beginning I, Beginning II, Low-Intermediate
- Citizenship for students who are preparing to take their citizenship test. We offer one class that is taught completely in English for higher level students and another class taught in English and Spanish for beginning level English learners. All students learn about U.S. Government and History.
- ESL Using Technology class teaches basic computer skills such as typing, word processing, e-mail and using the Internet, as well as English conversation
General Educational Development (GED)
- This class prepares students to take the GED exam
- Classes taught in English and Spanish (the majority of classes taught in Spanish)
- GED 1 classes focus on reading, writing and math
- GED 2 classes include reading, writing, math, social studies and science

Our volunteers have been recognized for their selfless desire to promote literacy and to assist students who need extra help to achieve their goals.
