When Catholic Charities has open positions, they are normally advertised in local newspapers such as the Albuquerque Journal or the Santa fe New Mexican. However, interested applicants may submit resumes for consideration at any time. Resumes are held for 3 months. If a position opens during that period which matches the qualifications on your resume, you will automatically be considered for that position. But the best time to apply is when Catholic Charities is actively recruiting for that job. It is helpful to attach a cover letter telling us specifically which positions are of interest to you. Some of the positions for which we occasionally have openings are: Counselors, Case Managers, Instructors, Childcare workers, Clerical positions, Drivers, Social Workers, etc. Some of these are filled with full-time employees, but we also have many part-time positions. ADULT EDUCATOR –Part-time position teaching ESL/Computer classes approx. 6 hrs/week at $20.50 per hour. Bachelor’s degree required. Must have experience in teaching ESL and must have knowledge of computer uses for workforce training, such as how to do job searches, write resumes, etc. Must also be competent in MS Office and Windows.
